The torsionally flexible intermediate shaft for bridging large shaft distances. Two GWE 5106 balancing couplings are connected using a precision intermediate tube made of aluminium.
Balancing coupling with half-shell clamping hubs for accommodating large shaft distances
This balancing coupling is used for bridging large shaft distances. The clamping hubs are designed as half shells. This brings a further benefit in addition to all the familiar ones by enabling easy radial mounting on the aligned shafts.
