GWE 5103.1 elastomer jaw couplings
Miniature coupling with long clamping hubs.
The extended version of the GWE 5103 also has clamping hubs. Designed as a miniature coupling, it is available in small sizes with or without a keyway.
Miniature coupling with extended single-slit clamping hubs
The backlash-free jaw couplings that make up the GWE 5103.1 series impress with their compact design. It consists of two long single-slit coupling hubs with high radial run-out accuracy and an elastomer spider, which is available in various degrees of Shore hardness. The shaft tolerance should be within a fit tolerance of “g6” to “h7”.
The elastomer spider results in a flexible jaw coupling that is backlash-free, fail-safe, damped and electrically insulated.
