Application examples
These freewheels come pre-filled with oil lubrication and are generally used as overrunning clutches or indexing freewheels. The D2 cover serves as a closure and allows for the filling and draining of oil, as well as checking the oil level. The unit is sealed with V-rings. Both the cover and the seal are designed to ensure leak-free oil filling and to minimise drag torque.
It is recommended to order the freewheels fully assembled. IMPORTANT: Please specify the overrunning direction of the inner race as seen from the perspective of looking at the D2 cover. This will ensure the smooth integration of the freewheel into your application and its proper functioning.
