Application examples
If they are used as backstops or overrunning clutches, the inner race must perform the overrunning motion.
These overrunning clutches are supported by bearings and are primarily used as overrunning clutches in auxiliary or starter drives. In such cases, the overrun speed is high, while the driving speed is low. It is essential not to exceed the speed values specified in the relevant tables.
The RIZ and RINZ basic units are used in combination with series G lids with gap seals. The space between the bearing and the cover is filled with grease. When ordered as complete units, these products come pre-filled with grease, enabling easier maintenance and start-up. Units can be installed both horizontally and vertically in order to meet the different requirements of various application areas.
