The TR-HD profile dampers are radially loaded damping elements that resemble the basic TR model but have a more solid design. This enables higher forces and energy absorption levels along with a shorter damping distance. The TR-HD dampers use a co-polyester elastomer with two different degrees of hardness, thereby allowing different damping characteristics to be achieved. The slightly oval (biconcave) design also helps ensure a gentler force intake.
