The ACE FYN-U1 rotary damper allows the damping direction to be set to clockwise or anti-clockwise as required. This customisable feature makes it extremely versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications. The rotary damper can be mounted directly at the pivot point, making it easier to integrate into a variety of systems.
One outstanding feature of the damper versions with unidirectional damping is that a certain level of return damping torque is generated during the reverse movement (with this torque depending on their respective size). In certain applications, this can be extremely beneficial.
The housing of the FYN-U1 rotary damper is made of very robust die-cast zinc, which makes it resilient and durable.
