The ACE FYN-N1 rotary damper allows the damping direction to be set to clockwise or anti-clockwise as required. This flexibility makes it ideal for applications in which the direction of rotation can change. The dampers can be mounted directly at the pivot point, making them easier to integrate into existing systems.

One particularly noteworthy feature of the versions with unidirectional damping is that a certain level of return damping torque is generated during the reverse movement (with this torque depending on the size). In certain applications, this can be beneficial.

To make it easy to identify the damping direction, the end caps of the rotary damper are colour-coded for clarity.
