Individual Expansion Ledges for Tailored Performance

Like the trusted Series A, the Series 403 features individual expansion ledges, allowing for direct replacement from the outside – a key advantage in reducing maintenance downtime. To suit different application needs, three expansion ledge variants are available:

• Lengthwise grooved aluminium ledges
• Lengthwise grooved steel ledges
• Smooth rubber ledges

The grooved steel and aluminium variants enable optimum torque transmission with cardboard cores, while the rubber expansion ledges are ideal for steel or plastic cores.

Modular Simplicity and Operational Flexibility

Thanks to its modular design, the Series 403 allows for numerous customisation options. The number and placement of expansion ledges within the shaft body can be tailored to your exact needs. The ledges are retracted by an internal plate spring system, enabling quick and effortless removal of the shaft from the core after use.

Repair Within Minutes

Downtime is reduced to a minimum. Should the bladder experience a leak – a common issue in any expansion shaft – the unique internal design of the Series 403 allows for rapid on-site repairs. With a repair kit or spare inner assembly in stock, restoration can be completed within minutes, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
