The Vorwald 605 Series pneumatic expansion coupling delivers a high-performance, lightweight solution for core holding applications, especially where frequent core size changes are required. Designed with a polyurethane expansion ring, this coupling combines exceptional torque capacity with effortless handling, ensuring smooth operation across a wide range of materials and core sizes

Built for Flexibility and Strength

The 605 Series is ideal for use with cardboard, plastic, aluminium, or steel cores, supporting internal diameters of 150 to 152.4 mm. Despite its light weight, the coupling delivers high torque transmission of up to 600 Nm per unit, ensuring reliable performance even in demanding environments.

Operators can choose between models with or without core stop collars, depending on the need for precise positioning during winding or unwinding. When equipped with a core stop collar, the coupling allows consistent alignment, improving production efficiency and reducing material waste.

Smart Engineering for Real-World Use

Multiple 605 Series couplings can be mounted on a single carrier shaft and connected via a spiral bladder system, enabling synchronized air distribution. This modular setup adds convenience and reduces the complexity of system integration.

⚠️ Note: Always ensure cores are placed on the coupling before applying compressed air. Premature inflation may damage the polyurethane expansion ring.
