In response to the growing trend towards ultra-miniaturisation and the increasing market demand for fully integrated and embedded systems, Camozzi is launching its series K8 micro solenoid valve. The latest development is a very important strategic product and represents a major milestone for Camozzi. The series K8 valve is set to become the key product for pilot solenoid valves in many future valve generations and in several custom solutions for fluid control in the industrial and life sciences sectors. Camozzi’s patented K8 micro solenoid valve is a directly operated 3/2-way and 2/2-way solenoid valve with NC (normally closed) and NO (normally open) functions. The valve takes the form of a cartridge with an outer diameter of just 8 mm, making it ideal for direct integration into applications where space is tight and minimal weight is required in combination with low energy consumption. These features also make the K8 suitable for use in portable devices for medical and fluid control applications.
