MATRIX 880 Series: Ultra-Fast Compact Valves for High-Performance Applications

The MATRIX 880 Series represents a new generation of compact, high-speed solenoid valves engineered for precision, performance, and durability. Designed with an innovative 2/2-way normally closed (NC) configuration, these valves are built to excel in demanding applications where rapid switching, long service life, and space efficiency are crucial.

At the heart of the 880 Series is Matrix’s frictionless operating principle that moves minimal mass, allowing for extremely fast switching speeds of less than 2 milliseconds and operating frequencies of up to 450 Hz. Despite their compact design, these valves deliver an impressive flow rate of up to 430 Nl/min, making them a powerhouse for high-speed operations across a wide range of sectors.

A key feature of this series is the Speed-Up control technology, which allows the valve to be operated using a standard 24V signal—eliminating the need for custom controllers or changes to existing system architecture. Depending on the model, the two integrated valve rockers can be actuated individually or simultaneously, enabling either 50% or 100% flow activation, offering flexibility for different flow requirements.

The MATRIX 880 Series is available in individual or manifold configurations, allowing seamless integration into both simple and complex systems. Its exceptionally long service life (>500 million cycles) and high repeatability reduce maintenance downtime and ensure consistent performance in critical applications.

Built with PPS bodies, aluminum flanges, and NBR/HNBR seals, these valves are durable and vibration-resistant. Their low power consumption, high precision, and fast response make them ideal for medical technology, flow control systems, dosing units, sorting equipment, and other automation processes where performance and reliability are non-negotiable.
