Camozzi's CST, CSV, and CSH series magnetic proximity switches provide a comprehensive solution for precise piston position sensing in pneumatic cylinders. Designed to fit directly into the profile barrel of Camozzi cylinders, these sensors are compatible across the entire Camozzi cylinder range and are available with or without an M8 connector, offering maximum flexibility in installation and connection.

Reed and Electronic Versions

The series includes two switching technologies:

• Reed switches: Featuring a mechanical contact that is actuated by a magnetic field. These are ideal for general industrial applications.
• Electronic switches: Built for high-frequency, heavy-duty operations, especially where vibration resistance and durability are critical.

When the magnetic piston inside the cylinder moves into range, the internal contact is activated, completing the circuit and providing a signal output to actuate a PLC or solenoid valve. A yellow LED indicator lights up when the contact is closed, providing clear visual confirmation.
