The Series AP valves are 2/2-way directly operated proportional solenoid valves, Normally Closed (NC), designed for accurate open-loop flow control applications. Ideal for use with gas mixtures, these valves are particularly effective in operations involving free flow control, air blows, or vacuum chamber emptying—without requiring a minimum working pressure.

With nominal diameters ranging from 0.8 to 2.4 mm, and available in 16 mm and 22 mm sizes, these valves deliver performance proportional to the control signal, whether operated via PWM or current. Optimized to reduce friction and stick-slip effects, the Series AP ensures precise and smooth operation, even under vacuum conditions.

Application Insight:

To ensure optimum performance, a counterpressure of at least 25% of the inlet pressure is recommended on the outlet side.
