Precision gripping in a compact design — ideal for automated handling systems.

Camozzi

High-performance magnetic parallel grippers with 5 size options and superior gripping force.

Series CGP Parallel Grippers: Compact, Powerful & Reliable

The Camozzi Series CGP parallel grippers are engineered for precision and durability in industrial automation. Available in five bore sizes—Ø10, Ø16, Ø20, Ø25, and Ø32 mm—these magnetic grippers deliver high gripping force thanks to their unique closing action, which utilizes the cylinder’s thrust side. This design enhances performance while keeping the overall size compact.

Built with ring bearings in the sliding section, the CGP series ensures long service life under demanding conditions. Each gripper offers three-sided mounting flexibility and supports easy integration with optional installation adaptors: mod. C-CGP (female) or L-CGP (male).

With a double-acting operation, they work efficiently at 1.5 to 7 bar pressure and up to 180 cycles/min, making them suitable for high-speed automation lines. U-shaped grooves allow quick and secure installation of proximity switches, enhancing process control.

These grippers are designed for filtered air operation, and while lubrication is not mandatory, it is required on the sliding section. If lubrication is used, ISO VG32 oil is recommended, and it must be maintained consistently.

Key Advantages:

  • Compact and durable design
  • High gripping force relative to size
  • Optional adaptors for easier installation
  • Magnetic piston with switch grooves
  • Operating temperature range: 0°C to 80°C

Whether used in pick-and-place systems, robotic applications, or packaging machinery, Camozzi’s CGP Series offers a robust and flexible solution for precision gripping.
