Series 5E – Versatile Electromechanical Axis for Horizontal Motion

The Series 5E electromechanical axes are high-performance linear actuators designed for demanding applications in packaging, assembly, and automation systems. Available in three sizes—50, 65, and 80—these actuators use a toothed belt transmission to convert motor rotation into precise linear motion. A defining feature of the 5E is its self-supporting square profile, which integrates all internal components in a compact, lightweight design while maintaining exceptional stiffness and resistance to external loads through an internal recirculating ball guide system.

The 5E axes offer exceptional versatility with a maximum stroke of up to 6 meters (size-dependent) and the ability to mount motors on all four sides, making integration into complex systems seamless. With IP40 protection (for versions A and D), centralized lubrication through internal channels, and compatibility with magnetic proximity switches (Series CSH) or inductive sensors, the Series 5E supports high-speed, high-precision operation with repeatability of ±0.05 mm. Sliders are available in standard, long, and double variants to suit various mechanical requirements. Additionally, the presence of internal channels for re-lubrication and a wide range of mounting accessories makes Series 5E ideal for multi-axis configurations.

Series 5V – Optimized Electromechanical Axis for Vertical Applications

The Series 5V electromechanical axes are specifically designed for vertical motion tasks in industrial environments such as pick-and-place, dispensing, palletizing, and loading/unloading operations. Also available in sizes 50, 65, and 80, the 5V axis leverages a toothed belt and a unique omega pulley configuration to minimize system inertia, enabling rapid and controlled vertical displacements even over long strokes. The robust square profile and optional high-stiffness (HS) version with multiple recirculating ball guides ensure precise movement under dynamic loading conditions.

Capable of strokes up to 1,500 mm, the Series 5V axes are highly integrable in x-y-z gantry and cantilever systems. They come equipped with integrated shock absorbers, greasing nipples, and centering bushings on the slider to simplify setup and maintenance. With a repeatability of ±0.05 mm and IP20 protection, the 5V axis supports continuous operation in environments that demand reliability and speed.
