The LOCKED PRK series from ACE is the ideal solution when powerful rod clamping is needed in restricted spaces. These compact pneumatic clamping elements provide impressive holding forces of 700 N to 5,000 N and torques of 7 Nm to 100 Nm, all within a compact profile of just 28 mm to 34 mm in height.
Designed for rod diameters from 20 mm to 40 mm, LOCKED PRK clamps both axially and rotationally, making it a versatile choice for jacking systems, stamping units, stacking machines, and more. The internal diaphragm spring-plate system activates clamping immediately when air pressure is lost—offering a reliable fail-safe mechanism in case of pneumatic failure.
Made from durable tool steel, LOCKED PRK supports 1,000,000 clamping cycles, operates with dried, filtered air, and performs reliably in temperatures between 10 °C and 45 °C. Compared to hydraulic or electric systems, these clamping elements offer lower costs without compromising performance.
