LOCKED LZ-P – Certified Pneumatic Rail Clamping for Vertical Axes

The LOCKED LZ-P clamping element from ACE is designed specifically for safe and certified clamping on vertical Z-axes. Built around a fail-safe wedge principle, the system prevents gravity-driven axis drop in the event of pneumatic pressure loss, making it an essential solution for vertical motion systems.

Initially tailored to Bosch Rexroth rail sizes 15 mm and 25 mm, LOCKED LZ-P has received BG (German Trade Association) certification following rigorous testing, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards. The holding force ranges from 1,500 N to 2,500 N, delivering secure and consistent performance in vertical clamping applications.

Constructed with a tool steel body and precision steel brake components, the LOCKED LZ-P supports 1,000,000 clamping cycles, uses dried, filtered air, and functions reliably within a temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C. The clamping action engages directly against the parallel guide surfaces of the rail, ensuring stable positioning under load.
