RfN 7013.1 Locking Assembly

Short, three-piece design with flange, self-centering. Suitable for high speeds and radial loads, with excellent concentricity.
Thanks to the flange, no axial displacement occurs during installation.
Our RfN 7013.1 locking assembly offers axial hub fixation, meaning that the hub is securely positioned during mounting. In addition, this locking assembly features excellent concentricity, ensuring high precision. It also offers very good dismountability, allowing for easy maintenance and repair.

The RfN 7013.1 differs from the RfN 7013.0 in its raised flange, which enables axial fixation of the hub while also ensuring high face run-out accuracy. Despite the design differences, this locking assembly retains a high torque transmission capacity that is nearly equivalent to that of the RfN 7013.0.

Typical applications where the RfN 7013.1 can be used effectively include crane wheels, couplings, gears, flywheels, and fan wheels – applications where precision and reliability are essential.

• Excellent concentricity and very good dismountability – the locking assembly provides outstanding concentricity between clamped parts. The flange is reinforced at critical areas, preventing bending or lifting of the inner ring during installation and ensuring easy disassembly.
• High-speed capable – the locking assembly maintains its shape during installation, making it suitable for high-speed applications.
• High radial load capacity – thanks to its high material strength, the assembly is especially suited for high radial loads.
• Axial hub fixation – the raised flange secures the hub axially during installation and ensures high face run-out precision.
• High torque transmission – an increased number of screws allows nearly the same high torque transmission as the RfN 7013.0.

Installation Notes

• The locking assemblies are delivered lightly oiled and ready to install.
• The values for T, Fax, pW and pN apply to the as-delivered condition.

Surface Finish

• For shaft and hub bore: Ra = 1.6 μm

Recommended Fit Tolerances

• Shaft: h8
• Hub: H8

Use of Multiple RfN 7013.1 Assemblies

• Installation from two sides only is possible.
• When using multiple assemblies to increase transmission values, the clamping sequence and system must be considered.

Tightening Torque Adjustment

• Modification of the TA values listed in the table is not permitted.
