RfN 7012 Locking Assembly – Optimized for High Bending Moments
Identical to RfN 7012, with optimized bolts for high bending moment transmission
The RfN 7012 locking assembly stands out for its ability to reliably transmit high forces and torques, even with its slim design. This makes it especially suitable for applications with limited installation space, where space constraints are a challenge.
Another key advantage of the RfN 7012 is its ability to compensate for minor tolerance deviations and assembly errors, simplifying both installation and operation. Additionally, the assembly is self-releasing, which allows for quick and trouble-free disassembly.
Overall, the RfN 7012 is an efficient solution for demanding applications requiring high torque and force transmission, without compromising on space or maintainability.
Product Features
- Slimmest design – ideal for installations with limited space
- Compensates for small tolerance variations and assembly misalignments
- High transmissible forces and torques – multiple RfN 7012 units can be arranged in series. The transmissible torque and axial forces are additive – please consult our technical experts
- Bending moments and radial loads – combined loads can be transmitted
- Easy installation – RfN 7012 assemblies can bridge large fitting clearances
- Low sensitivity to contamination – as the clamping screws are tightened, the functional surfaces press firmly together, preventing dirt and moisture ingress
- Wear-free operation – the assembly functions without relative movement between shaft and hub, eliminating wear and backlash. Can be clamped and released multiple times without performance loss
