The radial damping of the ACE TUBUS series has also been incorporated into the TR family of profile dampers. These maintenance-free and ready-to-use elements are made of co-polyester elastomer, which only heats up to a slight extent, thereby ensuring consistent damping.

The supported radial load enables very long and gentle deceleration to be achieved with a progressive reduction in energy at the end of the stroke. The TR product family has been specifically developed to combine a maximum stroke with a small overall height, with the energy absorption per stroke varying from 1.2 Nm to 146 Nm. These dampers are available in compact sizes from Ø 29 mm to Ø 100 mm and come with a special screw for quick and easy installation.

The TUBUS TR profile dampers are also an excellent solution for end position damping in the context of linear axes; toolmaking; machine tools; hydraulic, pneumatic and handling equipment; and for many other applications that require long and gentle deceleration.
