Safety controllers

Mosaic is a modular, configurable safety controller for protecting machines or plants.

Mosaic is capable of monitoring several safety sensors and commands, such as safety light curtains, laser scanners, photocells, mechanical switches, mats, emergency stops, two-hand controls, concentrating management of these in a single, flexible device.

Main parameters of REER MOSAIC programmable safety controllers:

·        SIL 3, PL e, cat. 4 safety category.

·        Compact design - 22.5 x 99 x 114.5 mm module size.

·        Up to 128 inputs and 16 OSSD safety outputs can be handled.

·        Up to 16 expansion modules can be connected to the M1 Master module.

·        M1 Master module: programmable, 8 inputs, 2 OSSD output pairs, 2 inputs for manual start / reset and EDM supervision, 4 test outputs for sensor monitoring, 2 digital outputs, USB interface.

·        Master units Mosaic M1, Mosaic M1S and Mosaic M1S COM are configurable via the MSD (Mosaic Safety Designer) graphic interface (provided with each Master units at no extra cost)

·        MI8O2 Expansion Module: 8 inputs, 2 OSSD output pairs, 2 inputs for manual start / reset and EDM supervision, 4 test outputs for sensor monitoring, 2 digital outputs.

·        MI8 / 16 Expansion Module: 8 or 16 Inputs, 4 Test Outputs for Sensor Monitoring.

·        MI12T8 Expansion Module: 12 Inputs, 8 Test Outputs for Sensor Monitoring.

·        MO2 / MO4 Expansion Module: 2 or 4 OSSD outputs pair, 2 or 4 digital outputs, 2 or 4 inputs for manual start / reset and EDM supervision.

·        MR2 / MR4 relay module: 2 N.O. + 1 N.C. or 4 N.O. + 2 N.C. contact.

·        Logical operators, storage, timers, counters, mute logics integrated into MSD programming software.
