The 3-piece locking assembly, specially designed for transmitting bending moments, is characterized by reduced stress within the assembly. This enables safe transmission of required loads using a locking assembly of type RfN 7515. During installation, the assembly and hub undergo a slight axial displacement.

A notable feature of this locking assembly is its ability to transmit combined bending moments and radial loads. For detailed applications and load conditions, we recommend consulting our specialists to determine the optimal solution.

The wide design of the locking assembly ensures excellent centering capability, which is beneficial in various applications. Examples of suitable uses include belt drums and press drives.

  • We recommend the following installation tolerances:
  • Shaft: h8; Hub: H8

Adjustment of Screw Tightening Torques

·       A reduction of surface pressure and transmission values is possible by decreasing the screw tightening torque. The allowable lower limit is calculated by multiplying the TA values by 0.5. The values for T, TA, Fax, pW, and pN are directly proportional.
