The TR-L radial tube dampers from the ACE TUBUS range are a series of maintenance-free, ready-to-install damping elements made from a co-polyester elastomer material. Because of the radial load supported by these dampers, designers are able to achieve very long and gentle deceleration with a progressive reduction in energy at the end of the stroke. Specially developed for applications that call for maximum strokes and a minimum overall height, the TR-L models offer energy absorption levels ranging from 7.2 Nm to 10,780 Nm and are available in sizes from Ø 29 mm to Ø 188 mm. The support forces vary according to the overall length of the selected tube damper.
TUBUS TR-L tube dampers are often used in scenarios where impact or collision protection is required along a straight line. Examples of such applications include mining equipment, loading and lifting devices, dock systems in shipbuilding, and baggage and conveyor belts.
