Who are they?

The Arrabona Racing Team (ART) is a dedicated and high-performing student racing team made up of young engineering students from Széchenyi István University, active in the Formula Student competition since 2014. This international engineering competition goes far beyond a simple race – it is a comprehensive technical and project management challenge where students work together to design, build, manage, and present a race car to an expert jury, supported by their university and professional industry partners.

In previous years, the team competed with internal combustion-powered cars. However, 2025 marks a major technological milestone: for the first time in their history, ART is entering the competition with a fully electric race car. This shift affects not only the powertrain but the entire vehicle architecture – from the chassis design and control systems to safety features.
