Type S200 is a sprag type freewheel without bearings, the sprags of which run directly on the shaft fitted by the user. Bearings, lubrication and sealing must be taken into account when designing the machine.

Application examples
This freewheel is generally installed directly next to a bearing. The locating bore for the outer race should have a tolerance of H7. The torque is transmitted by means of a keyway.
The sprags must run on a case-hardened shaft. The surface hardness of the finished parts should be HRC 60 to 62, with a case depth of at least 0.6°mm The required core hardness is between HRC 35 and 45.
The surface roughness value should be Rz 6.3 and the shaft taper should be within 0.01 mm over 50 mm. The radial run-out tolerance is 0.05 mm. Oil lubrication is recommended.
The S200 freewheel is compatible with the standard lubricants used in drive technology, including gear oil with EP additives. If necessary, grease lubrication can also be used (depending on the requirements of your application).
