Miniature Shock Absorbers

ACE Miniature Shock Absorbers

ACE miniature shock absorbers are hydraulic components designed to quickly decelerate heavy loads without damage or impact. Thanks to their compact size, these units can be easily integrated into various equipment, with some models even suitable for direct installation into the pressure chambers of pneumatic cylinders.

Miniature shock absorbers are used to enhance performance and reduce stress in existing systems such as:

  • Handling devices
  • Rotary actuators
  • Linear cylinders
  • Servo motors
  • Other possible applications – Please contact us

Each shock absorber is made from a single high-strength tubular steel alloy body. This material, combined with ACE’s advanced sealing technology, ensures a long service life of up to 25 million cycles for models featuring an EPDM rolling diaphragm seal (SC²190, MC150, MC225, MC600 & MA150).

ACE miniature shock absorbers are available in 7 different series:

  • MC5 to MC75: Self-compensating models with energy capacity from 0.68 Nm/cycle to 9 Nm/cycle – Stroke: 4 mm to 10 mm
  • MC150 to MC600: Self-compensating with rolling diaphragm seal (up to 25 million cycles), energy capacity from 20 Nm/cycle to 136 Nm/cycle – Stroke: 12 mm to 25 mm
  • PMCN150 to PMCN600: Self-compensating with rolling diaphragm seal (up to 25 million cycles), sealed TPU cap, energy capacity from 20 Nm/cycle to 136 Nm/cycle – Stroke: 12 mm to 25 mm
  • SC190 to SC925: Soft contact self-compensating models, energy capacity from 25 Nm/cycle to 110 Nm/cycle – Stroke: 16 mm to 40 mm
  • SC²25 to SC²190: Piston tube technology self-compensating models, energy capacity from 10 Nm/cycle to 31 Nm/cycle – Stroke: 8 mm to 12 mm
  • SC²300 to SC²650: Piston tube technology self-compensating models, energy capacity from 73 Nm/cycle to 210 Nm/cycle – Stroke: 15 mm to 23 mm
  • MA30 to MA900: Adjustable models with energy capacity from 3.5 Nm/cycle to 100 Nm/cycle – Stroke: 8 mm to 40 mm
