QHB Hydraulic Speed Dampers
Adjustable Linear Speed Dampers
The QHB Hydraulic Speed Dampers from BANSBACH are autonomous, maintenance-free systems. They are available in body diameters ranging from 15 mm to 40 mm, with strokes up to 800 mm and control up to 10,000 N. By default, they are available in double-acting controllers, but also in single-acting versions.
The single-acting version is controllable in one direction only, with free movement in the opposite direction.
The design allows for fine adjustment, and the travel speed remains constant.
The painted hydraulic damper body, along with the CeramPro® wear-resistant piston rod treatment, guarantees high quality and longevity.
The wide range of accessories makes installation easy in all positions, allowing them to be used in a variety of applications, such as machine covers, fire doors and hatches, suspension load oscillation damping (both free and motorized systems), etc.
For high-volume applications and to avoid individually adjusting each QHB speed damper, BIBUS France can provide a fixed control version based on a model adjusted to your application. This product becomes a custom solution for your needs and will enhance efficiency during integration into your equipment.
Applications
A speed damper allows you to:
- Control the closing of a lid (elevator inspection hatch, etc.)
- Control the closing of a cover (bin, machine, etc.)
- Control the cutting speed of a saw
- Control the speed of a pneumatic actuator
- Control the speed of a gas spring when the application requires controlled speed.
