This mechanism allows the gas spring to lock automatically in the fully retracted position — without requiring an external release button — based on the same principle as a retractable ballpoint pen.
The automatic locking ensures secure and reliable positioning of the gas spring, ideal for applications requiring locked positioning without additional effort.
To unlock the gas spring, a slight push on the piston rod — just a few millimeters in the compression direction — instantly releases the mechanism, allowing the Click System gas spring to complete its full extension smoothly.
The Bansbach Click System gas spring is engineered for demanding applications across various industries, including medical, aerospace, ergonomic furniture, industrial equipment, and more. Thanks to its robust and innovative design, it provides optimal ease of use and extended durability.
Available in Ø6/15, Ø6/19, Ø8/19, Ø8/22, Ø8/28, Ø10/22, Ø10/28, stroke lengths from 10 mm to 800 mm, and forces from 10 to 400 N.
