"We reduced our energy consumption by 33% thanks to a thermo-reflective coating"
At BIBUS France, energy performance is not just a goal it’s a daily commitment.
As part of our sustainable development approach, we recently carried out optimization work on our site to reduce our energy consumption and limit our carbon footprint.
With the support of PEINTURE TECHNIQUE and its director Alexis Barone, we implemented an innovative solution:
→ the application of a thermo-reflective coating on the roof of our building.
The project involved applying a thermo-reflective coating over a total surface area of 1,500 m², with a dosage of 800 g/m².
This type of coating acts as a reflective barrier:
→ it reflects solar radiation, reduces surface heating, and helps maintain a more stable temperature inside the building.
The first results are already visible: last July, BIBUS France reduced its energy consumption by 33%.
This performance demonstrates the effectiveness of the implemented solution and confirms the relevance of our energy efficiency strategy.
We are closely monitoring upcoming data to confirm this trend over the long term and to identify new opportunities for improvement.
This project reflects our determination to turn our commitments into measurable results.
By combining technical innovation, collaboration, and environmental responsibility, we are actively contributing to the transition toward a more sustainable industry.

Innovation. That magic word that makes engineers’ eyes light up, gets financiers jumping with excitement, and makes operators sigh, knowing they’ll have to relearn everything. Innovation is supposed to propel us into the future, improve our daily lives, and ideally, not destroy the planet along the way.
Rather than doing nothing about environmental problems because we feel powerless or think that the solution must come from others, we can all take action at our own level by changing our habits!
Time-to-market is the optimisation of time-to-market, i.e. the time taken between the design and sale of a product.
In 2017, one of our key account customers in the Defense sector asked us to provide him with our latest Ecovadis CSR assessment. This was the prerequisite for any collaboration between us...
The industries that recognize they have the greatest impact on the environment are those that are taking the most steps to develop more sustainable practices. Constrained by a legislative framework, companies must increasingly integrate sustainability values into their strategy.
