48 Hours to Secure a Tunnel

We’re proud to celebrate the success of BIBUS Switzerland in a critical maintenance project on the ventilation systems of the Vignes and Combette tunnels.

These infrastructures play a key role in road safety.

Why is this important?

• With fans measuring 90 cm in diameter and 5.5 meters long, they control air quality and ensure safety in emergency situations.
• Effective ventilation removes exhaust gases and provides vital escape time during incidents.

Our mission:

• Replace corroded cable glands
• Check motor insulation
  

Thanks to meticulous planning and excellent coordination, the BIBUS team overcame both logistical and technical challenges.

These delicate tasks were completed within a tight two-day timeframe, as extended highway closures were not an option.

This project is another example of how we ensure our clients’ infrastructure remains safe and operational, thanks to our technical expertise and efficient execution even under demanding conditions!
