The increase in the workload in the medical sector has considerably deteriorated the working conditions of caregivers. Indeed, the repeated handling of heavy loads on trolleys, beds, armchairs or the movement of patients generates stress, physical tension and promotes the appearance of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
In France, musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs)) are the main cause of Occupational diseases In the medico-social sector. In 2023, the Health Insurance recorded 47,434 recognised occupational diseases, an increase of 3,217 cases compared to 2022 (source: The EESC). In 2024, TMS constituted approximately 88 % recognised occupational diseases in France, confirming the urgent need to implement appropriate prevention solutions.
To meet this challenge, we have supported ASMS2 in the implementation of a project to reduce the risks associated with Pushing and braking forces of trolleys. Thanks to motorisation and optimisation of the ergonomics of the equipment, The movement of the trolleys is now more fluid, greatly limiting the physical constraints on the staff.

After a precise study of the specifications, our design office recommended the integration of of the 160M series autonomous electric wheel+, directly into their MOVEO160 base system.
