Version with short spacer, standard hubs with keyway

Despite its double-cardanic concept, the TND OCO is very short. The double-jointed design with two disc packs compensates for angular, axial and radial shaft misalignments with minimum axial space requirements.

The TND OCO version is a torsionally rigid, backlash-free steel disc coupling. It consists of two hubs with an open flange (O) that are connected to a radially removable and installable compact spacer (C). High-strength screws are used to connect each disc pack to the spacer and one hub, thereby creating a double-cardanic system.

Two different disc packs are available depending on the coupling size:

  • HD (= High Deflection) version for greater displacement capacity to handle any shaft misalignments that occur.
  • HT (= High Torque) version with greater power density to handle higher torque transmission requirements.
