Our RfN 7013.1 locking assembly features axial hub fixing, which means that the hub remains securely positioned during assembly. In addition, this locking assembly offers excellent radial run-out, thereby ensuring a high level of precision. It is also very easy to disassemble for straightforward maintenance and repairs.

The difference between the RfN 7013.1 and the RfN 7013.0 is that the flange of the former has an increased outer diameter, which enables axial fixing of the hub and a high axial run-out accuracy. Despite the changes in the design, this locking assembly retains a high torque transmission capacity that is almost on a par with the RfN 7013.0 locking assemblies.

The RfN 7013.1 locking assembly excels in applications such as crane running wheels, couplings, gear wheels, flywheels and fan wheels – where precision and reliability play a crucial role.

Product features

  • Excellent radial run-out and very easy disassembly – these locking assemblies ensure very precise run-out between the clamped parts. The flange is reinforced at the critical point. This prevents bending or lifting of the inner ring during assembly, thereby ensuring easy disassembly as well.
  • Higher speed – the locking assemblies retain their shape during assembly and are therefore suitable for high speeds.
  • High radial loads – the extreme material strength makes this locking assembly particularly suitable for high radial loads.
  • Axial hub fixing – in addition, the increased outer diameter of the flange prevents axial movement of the hub during assembly, and improves the axial run-out accuracy.
  • High torque – the increased number of screws ensures a transmissible torque that is almost as high as with the RfN 7013.0.

Locking assembly installation

The locking assemblies are supplied lightly oiled and ready for installation. The values for T, Fax, pW and pN apply to the locking assemblies in their delivered condition.

For shaft and hub bore Ra = 1.6 μm

We recommend the following installation tolerances

Shaft: h8; Hub: H8

Arrangement of several RfN 7013.1 locking assemblies

Arrangement only possible from 2 sides. If several locking assemblies are used to increase the transmission values, the clamping system must be taken into account.

Changing the screw tightening torques

It is not permitted to change the TA values specified in the table
