This jaw coupling largely conforms to international standards. Designed as a balancing coupling, its standard length makes for a versatile product, whether you opt for a version with or without a keyway.
Balancing coupling with double-slit clamping hubs
Jaw couplings from the GWE 5104 series, with clamping hubs and a high degree of international standardisation. The product consists of two clamping hubs with high radial run-out accuracy and an elastomer spider, which is available in various degrees of Shore hardness. For sizes up to 19, the hubs are axially slit (single-slit), while for sizes 24 and above, they are both axially and radially slit (double-slit). The shaft tolerance should be within a fit tolerance of “g6” to “h7”.
The coupling is available with elastomer spiders in different degrees of Shore hardness and impresses with its special damping properties.
