Diaphragm pumps

Air-Operated Diaphragm Pumps

Air-operated diaphragm pumps are suitable for transferring fluids with a wide range of compositions, viscosities, and applications. Due to the absence of electric motors and rotating parts, these pumps are ideal for handling hazardous liquids without the need for explosion protection. With the proper selection of housing and valve materials, they are suitable for conveying contaminated, abrasive, and aggressive media.

These pumps are available in sizes from 1/4" to 3", with housing and valve materials including PPG, PVDF, PTFE, aluminium, steel, or stainless steel. They are widely used across various industries and offer the following key features:

  • Portable, air-driven pumps with a 1:1 drive ratio
  • No mechanical seals, couplings, or gear systems
  • Capable of pumping a wide variety of fluids and nearly all types of chemicals
  • Output flow rate and pressure depend on the supplied compressed air parameters
  • Excellent ability to handle solids and particulates
  • Ideal for abrasive media
  • Can run dry without damaging the pump
  • Provide strong self-priming capabilities
  • Allow dead head operation – when the outlet pressure equals the air supply pressure, the flow drops to zero and the pump stops automatically
  • Deliver low pulsation and smooth flow
  • Can operate submerged in a fluid
  • Offer low maintenance and operating costs
